400m track and field venue elevation is how to control?

The elevation of the 400m track and field facility must strictly follow the design documentation. In some cases, the design provides relative elevations, such as ±0.00m referenced to the top of the gutter cover plate on-site. To ensure proper alignment between the construction site and the permanent structures, as well as the correct relationship between the drainage ditch and the municipal sewer system, a thorough review of the design is essential. It's important to verify how the site’s elevation relates to the ±0.00m reference and then determine the exact height of the inner ring ditch cover, which should also be set at ±0.00m. To achieve this, permanent benchmarks are introduced into the track and field area. Two temporary benchmarks are established in the opposite direction of the track. Each benchmark is a small concrete block measuring 50cm x 50cm x 70cm, with a steel pile embedded in the center. The top of the pile is set at the level of the inner ring ditch cover, assumed to be ±0.00m for construction purposes. These two points are checked against each other once a month to ensure consistency and accuracy. This method helps maintain precise elevation control throughout the project.
