Upgrading of PET processing equipment

At present, the global demand for polyethylene terephthalate (PET) products grows at about 8%. This huge market has facilitated the development of the PET preforms processing industry.

Recently, the company Netstal of Switzerland introduced processing equipment with PET special screw. The new screw has been added with a "squeeze injection" function, which means that the screw can continue to rotate at high speed during the injection process, increasing the output of an existing 600 t plant from 500 kg/h to 700 kg/h. It is suitable for a variety of specifications of PET processing equipment, and the style can be refurbished. Husky Canada is also replacing the established G-PET parison molding system with the newly developed Hy PET system. Compared with the G-PET system, the new system has a single-sided mold and an improved cooling and parison processing system. The molding cycle can be reduced by about 5%, reducing processing power consumption, and the equipment footprint can be reduced by 20%.
