At present, the two topics of food safety and air quality are increasingly concerned by the public. At the same time, this has become one of the key challenges facing modern society. Recently, the European IAQSENSE R & D team composed of more than 10 scientific research institutions and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in 5 member states of the European Union was funded by 3.5 million euros from the European Union ’s seventh R & D framework plan (FP7) Utilizing 3 patented technologies independently developed, we have successfully developed an intelligent high-sensitivity real-time indoor air quality detection technology and device. The structure of the detection instrument is mainly composed of an induction device and a digital display screen. The size is small, and it can be conveniently placed in a public place such as a home, office, car, or built into a smart phone, and the air quality can be checked at any time. Studies have shown that poor air quality may lead to fatigue, headaches and other uncomfortable reactions and more serious diseases. According to the statistics of the European Lung Foundation (ELF), inefficient labor and sick leave caused by respiratory diseases cost Europe 102 billion euros per year on average, and warn that indoor air pollution is 10 times higher than outdoor average. In particular, in order to strengthen energy conservation and emission reduction, EU countries have recently introduced building air-tight (Air Tight) regulations and measures, which have increased the degree of indoor air pollution. Indoor air pollution mainly comes from various types of low concentrations of "volatile organic compounds", as well as chemical components and microorganisms. Up to now, accurate detection and analysis of air quality still requires heavy and expensive instruments and equipment. This time, the IAQSENSE R & D team carried out the research and development of a new air quality detection system with low cost, high sensitivity, selectivity, safety, reliability and mass production as the research goals. During the research and development process, advanced biological nano-sensing technology played a major role. Among them, it is worth mentioning that the surface ion dynamic migration of various gas components separation technology developed by the R & D team. Its main working principle is air sampling through the sensor, multi-gas detection separation and digital processing through a highly sensitive spectrometer, and the data is wirelessly transmitted To the Internet "cloud computing" processing system, and users can obtain the required air quality feedback information according to the selected service.
