Equistar develops new resin grade TR513 PP

Injection molding of large thin-walled products requires the use of high-flow, high-impact performance resins. Equistar has developed PP for the new resin grade TR513 for molding electronic packaging such as CD cases, which is a homopolymer with an MFR of 65 g/(10 min), a flexural modulus of 1825.8 MPa, and a notched impact strength of 10.7. J/m; mainly used for electronic products such as CD cases. The Topilenej 742S product developed by Hyosung Corporation of Korea is a highly rigid, impact copolymer PP with an MFR of 30 g/(10 min) and a thermal distortion temperature of 125°C. It is mainly used for inner and outer barrels and housings of injection molded washing machines. Can also be used to make chairs, crates and other supplies.
