Advanc3d develops new TPU material for 3D printing

Currently, engineering polymer materials for laser sintering are still limited. It is not easy to modify the materials used in the conventional process for the 3D printing technology, so the SLS material is used only for special conditions.

"AdSint TPU 80 shA" has a maximum elongation of 600%, making it a highly elastic material. In addition, because the material is perfectly spherical and with a very small volume, which can be seen under a microscope, the surface of the printed product is smooth.

Experts pointed out that the use of laser heating helps to further reduce the hardness of the finished product. At the same time, the material also has good wear and corrosion resistance.

It is reported that this TPU material is now available, with 2kg drums and 10kg packaging, the color is black, and can be recycled 100% to make the material cost advantage is greater, and is mainly used for the production of shoe soles, plastic surgery molds, hoses, pipes, Seals and wheels.
