The 70th Cannes Film Festival took place from May 17th to May 28th, marking another unforgettable chapter in the world of cinema. **BEST DIRECTOR PRIZE**
Sofia Coppola was honored for her work on *The Beguiled*, a haunting adaptation of a novel by Thomas P. Cullinan. Her acceptance speech reflected her gratitude and inspiration from her parents and other female directors.
**BEST ACTRESS PRIZE**
