ANARCHITECT is a renowned architecture and design studio based in Dubai with a strong presence in London. Founded in 2013 by British architect Jonathan Ashmore, the firm has quickly become a go-to for high-end residential and commercial projects that blend understated luxury with modern architectural principles.
ANARCHITECT recently completed a 3,000 sqm private villa in Dubai Hills for a family relocating from Geneva. The project redefines modernist luxury through intricate detailing in stone, wood, and metal, creating a light-filled home that seamlessly connects with the outdoors and offers stunning views of the golf course and city skyline. The design features a refined yet calming atmosphere, with spaces flowing into one another and opening up to an inner courtyard. The use of natural materials and soft lighting creates a relaxed, beach-inspired environment where the family can feel at ease and enjoy their new home. ANARCHITECT was commissioned to design a luxurious beachfront villa in central Kuwait for a VIP client who is an avid collector of contemporary art. The project spans four levels and is designed to optimize natural light while maintaining privacy and comfort. The interiors draw inspiration from Brazilian modernism, using rich woods, stone, and soft tones to create a warm and inviting space. The layout ensures that working areas, entertainment zones, and private family spaces coexist harmoniously without sacrificing comfort or privacy. ANARCHITECT was tasked with merging two adjacent properties in London’s exclusive Belgravia neighborhood into a single, contemporary residence. The project aimed to maximize property value and create a unique living space tailored to the client’s needs. The design includes a spacious open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area on the upper level, along with a private roof terrace. The master suite features two additional bedrooms and a guest room with its own bathroom. The lower ground floor houses wellness facilities including a gym, massage room, steam, sauna, and swimming pool. ANARCHITECT has earned numerous accolades, including one of the first RIBA certifications outside the UK.
