Delta Electromechanical System Solutions for Pillow Packaging Machines

Recently, Delta's electromechanical system solution developed by Delta Electronics Co., Ltd. Jinan Branch was successfully approved by a packaging equipment company located in Qingdao, Shandong Province, China and was applied to its pillow packer.

Pillow type packaging machines, which are mainly used in the packaging of foods and medicines, generally adopt a traditional differential gear box structure. Although they operate stably, they are noisy and easily damaged. The adjustment of the package accuracy is also complicated.

The newly-developed Delta Electromechanical System solution mainly uses the EH series PLC as the core of the control system, and successfully combines the performance of Delta's ASDA series servos, A series man-machine interfaces, encoders, and thermostats.

Through the relevant system, the accuracy and speed of the packaging can be increased, so that the package accuracy can reach plus or minus 1 mm and the speed can reach 200 packages per minute.
