RPC Launches New Technology to Improve Product Packaging Design

RPC's designed 5 litre container uses Cuprinol Sprayable Fence Treatment.

In consultation with the marketing and technical staff of Cuprinol, RPC in Raunds designed this packaging concept. The key requirement is to get a package that is easy to pour (due to the use of caplino's special protective spray coating) and a durable exterior surface that is compatible with outdoor products. In addition, in order to be able to use under the existing filling line, the height of the package cannot exceed 320 mm.

RPC's final solution involves the blow molding and injection molding expertise of its Raunds and Market Rasen, respectively. Blow-molded HDPE packaging features a simple rectangular design with a 63 mm neck in the middle. The central position of the container, large neck and shoulder design combine to ensure that the mouth is free to pour.

Dumping freedom is facilitated by the help of a separate, injection-molded polypropylene hand brace held by a detachable collar. To maintain precise dispersion of the liquid during pouring, the user holds the product through the handle, base and handle fulcrums.

Another advantage of the 63 mm neck is that it allows the container to be fitted with an inductively sealed heat seal cap. At a glance, it is known that the original packaging is intact to ensure safe transport and no leakage.

Colourful sleeves can maximize their shelf appeal, including eye-catching graphics and detailed product information, as well as a large number of containers for packaging to ensure the application's convenience.
